Hollywood Costume House of New Zealand is a new and first of it's kind addition to the film industry here in Wellington, New Zealand. We rent vintage clothing to the entertainment industry exclusivley. The same rental policies apply as the costume houses in Los Angeles but with minor adjustments to fit the New Zealand film environment. We do however cater to your specific costume rental needs. Costume Research Library: A library stocked full of books, magazines and periodicals for your costume research requirements. Conduct your own research by coming in or let us do the work for you. You will receive a well presented hard copy portfolio of your vintage clothing research. A quick response via email can be provided if requested. For costume construction research - orginal items can be viewed in our library. Access to orignal period sewing patterns available beginning with the 1920's. Specifc items can be reproduced by us using original vintage sewing patterns. Costumer Supply Store: International productions; we're ready to top up your supplies so you don't need to reorder overseas. Theatrical supplies for local plays, promotions and fancy dress occasions available.
